AMC Global Media’s popular streamer All Reality, the premier destination for bold reality TV and true crime, today announced the U.S. acquisition of Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie, featuring reality TV icon Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (Jersey Shore). The eight-episode series will debut Friday, November 13, exclusively on All Reality with a new episode streaming every Friday.
A paranormal investigation series, Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie follows Polizzi as she explores haunted locations across North America. The series pairs Snooki’s unfiltered charisma and genuine belief in the supernatural with the expertise of Kevin Whitaker, one of North America’s foremost psychic mediums. Joining the investigations are occult expert and historian Missy Morrow, whose deep knowledge of haunted lore and ritual practices help guide the team through each location’s dark past, and tech specialist Todd Thomas who brings cutting-edge paranormal equipment and investigative techniques into the field. With zero formal training but a lot of determination, Snooki embarks on a transformational journey from wide-eyed rookie to increasingly confident investigator as the team uncovers chilling mysteries.
“Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi helped define reality television for a generation, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome her back to AMC Global Media for this entertaining and unexpected paranormal adventure,” said Courtney Thomasma, EVP of Linear and Streaming at AMC Global Media. “Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie delivers everything All Reality fans love: big personalities, addictive stories and a stranger-than-fiction twist. Who better to take us into the unknown this Friday the 13th than Snooki?”
A Crave Original, Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie is produced by Buck Productions in association with My Entertainment and Bell Media’s Crave. Executive producers are Sean Buckley, Jim Kiriakakis, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Justin Stockman. Kyle Whitelaw serves as showrunner and director.
Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.
Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie is the newest addition to All Reality’s deep library of intriguing reality and true crime, joining popular series such as The Braxtons, the Love After Lockup franchise, Bridezillas, Archive X and more.
