MY PET ATE WHAT!?

Pets will devour anything. But once down the hatch, unplanned “dinner” quickly becomes a danger. That’s when the call goes out to Dr. G - a master of non-surgical “seek and recover”. From tongs... to thongs. Carpet to keys. This one-of-a-kind vet travels far and wide to pull thousands of unbelievable items out of every type of pet imaginable.

When a pet’s “off-menu” dining choice leads to a crisis, over 300 vet clinics have Dr. G on speed dial. With 20+ years of veterinary experience, Dr. G is one of the world’s only fulltime travelling animal endoscopists. Tackling 12-15 cases weekly, Dr. G is called on by the veterinary community to prevent an animal in distress from having to undergo invasive surgery that carries risk. His unique skills often mean the difference between a quick laugh when an object comes out, or devastating news no pet owner ever wants to hear.

Armed with his trusty endoscope and an arsenal of retrieval tools, Dr. G brings much more than technical expertise. His dry wit, keen problem-solving skills, and “expressive” bedside manner make every case memorable. This season, he’s joined by his oldest son, Ben, who’s returned home to lend a hand with his dad’s busy summer caseload. While Dr. G tackles the procedures, Ben provides pet owners with comfort, shares the news of successful removals, and does a little detective work to identify mysterious finds. Together, this dynamic father-son duo brings both old-school skill and fresh enthusiasm to every case.

With pets of all kinds and the most bizarre “snacks” you can imagine, Dr. G and Ben are
constantly raising their game to reunite foreign-body free pets with their relieved owners.
