The Mightiest is a high-energy, action-packed adventure taking viewers into the world of the biggest, fastest, and most unique mechanical marvels working today. It’s a thrilling international journey that hops in the driver’s seat of some of the most powerful and awe-inspiring machines ever built. These monstrous machines push the boundaries of engineering and ingenuity as they redefine the limits of strength, speed, and scale. From the stratosphere to the open sea, deep underground and inside sprawling infrastructure – The Mightiest features some of the greatest machines of all time that keep our world running. 

In season 3, we fly high above California’s Mojave Desert aboard The Roc - the largest fixed-wing aircraft in the world. We take to the giant waves of the high seas aboard the Saipem 7000, an enormous deep-sea construction platform preparing for its next project, and we venture into one of the biggest car manufacturing facilities on the planet in Wolfsburg, Germany, to see how humans and machines work together to keep a steady stream of vehicles flowing from the factory floor to the open road. In Canada, we join the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 450 Helicopter Squadron aboard the world-famous CH-147 Chinook. We tackle construction beneath the heart of Toronto’s downtown core with a cavern-carving monster called the Roadheader, and we trek deep into the woods with the timber titans responsible for toppling trees and getting that timber to the mill. In Onaway, Michigan, we race souped-up Big Rigs in head-to-head battles of adrenaline and horsepower, while in Iowa, the heat becomes inescapable as we enter a steel mill with a 3000°C furnace that melts scrap metal into fresh steel. Then, we get our motors running and head out on the highways of Kansas and Missouri with a fleet of beastly paving machines that are ripping up the road and laying new paths.
