Christina will represent Sphere Abacus and continue to strengthen sales in Latin America and focus on the importance of the buyers and channels in the region as she uses her knowledge of the market to promote Sphere Abacus’ diverse slate of premium and multi-genre programming.

Christina Covarrubias was previously Director Sales for Latin America and US Hispanic for ITV Studios Distribution, managing all licensing activity including formats for Latin America and US Hispanic to broadcast, cable and digital platforms. “I’m looking forward to attending both MIPCOM and MIP CANCUN to represent Sphere Abacus’ catalogue of diverse slate of premium documentaries and series available for all rights in Latin America.”

Christina studied Cinema Television Critical Studies and English Creative Writing at the University of Southern California.
