MUD MOUNTAIN HAULERS

Mud Mountain Haulers is a character driven docu-series about steep slope logging in the highlands of British Columbia. It follows a compelling cast of loggers and log haulers who battle treacherous terrain, unpredictable weather, and complex machinery to get their logs to the mill.

Based in the Shuswap Highlands of British Columbia, brothers Craig and Brent Lebeau are third generation loggers on different career paths. Craig’s steep slope logging company caters to large mills, has an army of employees, and includes an arsenal of heavy trucks and machinery. Brent sticks to smaller, specialty jobs, and runs a small crew. Brent and Craig are hoping for a successful season, but with the notoriously unpredictable weather and terrain, anything can happen in the Shuswap.

Brothers Shane and Chad Glover are second generation loggers based in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. Their 80-year-old father Gary started the company 50 years ago and is still logging full time.  Shane, a former semi-pro hockey player, is the company’s operations manager while Chad, who started running machines at 12, is the company’s lead operator. Like Craig, the Glovers run a large steep slope operation with more than 40 employees.

The series follows both families and their crews over the course of an eight-month logging season. Every episode is a mash up of high-octane adventure, raw nature, and gear-head mechanics - an immersive, deep dive into one of the world’s most dangerous professions.

Also available are the follow-up series TIMBER TITANS S1 & S2.
