PAUL MERTON: DRIVING AMAZING TRAINS (W/T)

Comedian Paul Merton’s dad was a London Underground driver. From an early age, Paul remembers getting the view from the front when his Dad took him in the cab on the tube. Now, he wants that view again and he’s travelling the length and breadth of Europe and the UK on a whole plethora of trains to get it. From France to Wales and Germany to the Isle of Wight, he’ll be driving and ’riding the footplate’ on trains of all shapes and sizes. From giant steam trains to funiculars and mountain engines, he’s up front with the driver.
