Across six episodes, the castle’s dedicated conservators, gardeners, curators, craftspeople and events teams protect priceless treasures, uncover hidden histories and prepare for spectacular public occasions. 

Their present-day challenges intertwine with nine centuries of remarkable women, from medieval queens to glamorous American heiress Lady Baillie, whose legendary parties and passionate stewardship secured the castle’s future. 

The series culminates at Christmas 2026, marking 50 years since Leeds Castle opened to the public—a joyful celebration of heritage, craftsmanship and enduring human stories and connection.
