Made For TV with Bowman Martinez-Reid is a scripted comedy series following influencer Boman Martinez Reid as he tries to make the jump from social media personality to television star. Making millions (over 100 million actually) of people LOL on the internet, Boman unabashedly believes that he is meant for television superstardom and will be able to convert his internet fame into TV. Except he doesn’t have a clue how.
Throughout the season, Boman tries everything from being a heartthrob on his own Reality Dating show to delivering The News live on air. He pushes himself to the limits as he battles his ego and insecurities with varying degrees of success. A heavy hitting list of Celebrity Advisors puts Boman through a series of tests to see if he has what it takes to make it in their genre. In the end, an Ultimate Test sees all of Boman’s new found skills put to use as he tackles the genre head on. In order to succeed, all he has to do is listen to the Advisors, stay humble and be willing to grow. Which, for Boman, is easier said than done. He’s funny, confident and ready to prove that he’s Made For TV.
